Ellyn Oliver is an Aberdeenshire born, Glasgow based singer/songwriter.
Ellyn’s vocal versatility has been exercised through a variety of notable Scottish Christian music projects over the past few years. Her voice can be heard blended amongst the new church worship music projects, New Scottish Hymns and Satellite; as a lead vocalist with Origin Scotland‘s Foot Stomping Gospel Band, orchestra and choir; and as backing for fellow Scottish singer/songwriters Steph Macleod and Allan McKinlay.
More recently Ellyn has been honing and developing her craft and own material though hosting a regular acoustic night in Glasgow, singing in cover bands, as well as playing and speaking at various other acoustic nights and schools around Scotland.
Ellyn’s unique and evocative vocal will be accompanied by her acoustic guitar and a few technical tricks. Her distinctive style crosses over a number of genres such as folk, blues, jazz, soul and gospel. She’ll be sharing her own material, along with some favourites from her forming projects and might even ask you to join her in singing a few.
